How to Make a Complaint About Your Service Provider
If you are unhappy with the service provided and wish to file a complaint, follow these steps:
1. Contact Your Service Provider
Start by registering your complaint with your service provider and following its complaints procedure. Each provider; JT (Guernsey), Airtel Vodafone, and Sure, has a code of practice that outlines the process for handling complaints, including the timeframes for resolution.
In the first instance, ask your service provider to resolve the issue directly.

2. Escalate to Trading Standards (Guernsey)
If your complaint in Guernsey remains unresolved, either because:
- You are dissatisfied with the outcome, or
- The service provider has not met the resolution timeframes outlined in its code of practice,
you can escalate the matter to the Trading Standards Service. They act as an impartial body, working to find a fair outcome for all parties involved.
