Overview
The Guernsey Competition and Regulatory Authority (GCRA) oversees the telecoms sector in Guernsey, ensuring fair competition and promoting best practices.
Our role includes:
- Encouraging innovation and fairness in the industry.
- Providing new operators with access to existing networks within realistic timescales and at fair costs.
- Licensing telecoms operators to deliver high-quality services to the community.
In some cases, operators may also require spectrum licences, which are issued by Ofcom. Through effective regulation, we aim to create a telecoms sector that fosters competition, innovation, and reliable service for Guernsey’s businesses and residents.
